The Queensland Government have developed the 'Performane Framework for Queensland’s Biodiversity Strategy (Performance Framework). The Performance Framework is intended to support implementation and reporting for Conserving Nature – a Biodiversity Conservation Strategy for Queensland (Biodiversity Strategy) that was released in 2022.

The Biodiversity Council welcomes the clear vision in the Performance Framework. However, in our submission we outline two key ways the framework could be further improved by: refining the vision so that is more closely aligns with the global Nature Positive goal and developing a more conventional program logic.
