Liam Ferguson
Digital Communications Officer

Liam is the Digital Communications Officer and works to keep the public informed about the latest biodiversity issues and inspires support for solutions.
Liam has a diverse background in media, working primarily in digital marketing to develop multi-channel strategies for diverse clients. He also has qualifications in graphic design and has worked on various science communications projects with the Pest & Environmental Adaptation Research Group and Cesar Australia prior to starting at the Biodiversity Council in 2024.
He completed a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) at The University of Sydney in 2016 and a Master of BioScience at The University of Melbourne in 2022, where he researched climate change adaptation in insects.
