This lesson suits Year 5-6 students within the Science and Geography curricula.
Students will learn how people can influence their environment by identifying organisations that help to support and influence biodiversity in their local area.
Learning intentions:
Students will:
- explore case studies of organisations working to promote the co-existence of humans and wildlife
- identify how they can connect with organisations in their local area to influence the characteristics of their places.
Success criteria:
Students can:
- identify how people have influenced the characteristics of a place to promote people/wildlife co-existence.
